This role will suit someone who is highly motivated, relationship-focused and passionate about creating exciting, culturally responsive learning experiences to ignite a desire to learn in students.
In this role you will be a highly valued member of our staff. The successful applicant will ideally have a passion for Visual Art and the ability to implement instructional strategies that maximise students’ engagement in their learning and motivate students to achieve to their full potential. You will ideally be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collegially with other staff.
The successful applicant will ideally have the ability to provide high quality teaching and learning programs to meet the needs of our students. You should have an excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and be able to teach students of varying ability levels, differentiating the curriculum across Year 11 and 12 in a highly engaging manner.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit prior to commencement of employment
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check;
- meet the Department of Education
- complete the Department’s training in Accountable and Ethical Decision-Making within six months of appointment and every three years thereafter;
- complete the Department’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural awareness online course within 3 months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
