The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Teacher/Diverse Learning Coordinator to join our Diverse Learning Team with a comprehensive understanding of providing exceptional learning support for students, particularly those with identified learning needs.

Key responsibilities include:
- assisting with the identification of learning needs through collaborative engagement with teachers
- supporting academic staff in developing appropriate strategies to suit students' individual learning needs.
- utilising effective strategies to support students in class, in small groups, and individually
- monitoring student outcomes and providing feedback to relevant academic staff
- active involvement in the academic, student wellbeing, co-curricular programs, as they are pivotal to the holistic development of each student.
Keys Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- relevant teaching qualifications and experience
- knowledge of processes relating to the diverse learning needs of students, including disability issues, verification, NCCD, individual programming, diagnostic testing and data collection
- extensive knowledge of teaching strategies to achieve optimal learning outcomes for students.
- excellent technological literacy
- the ability to work collaboratively and energetically within a high-performing school culture.
- current Queensland College of Teachers registration (or eligibility to apply).
