St John's Kindergarten Roma is seeking Kindergarten Teachers and Teacher Assistants on a casual (relief) basis. As part of the kindergarten community, you will support the early childhood development of children as they commence their learning journey.
Together with the Kindergarten Director-Teacher, you will instill a welcoming and nurturing environment for children to thrive and grow. You will provide each child the chance to engage in real-life and playful investigations, to reach milestones and set educational foundations.
About You
As a Kindergarten Teacher, you will need to possess or be willing to obtain a:
- bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, or equivalent qualifications as per ACECQA guidelines,
- current Queensland College of Teachers registration,
- valid Working with Children Check (Queensland Blue Card), and
- current First Aid and CPR certifications.
As a Teacher Assistant, you will need to possess or be willing to obtain a:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or equivalent qualifications as per ACECQA guidelines,
- valid Working with Children Check (Queensland Blue Card), and
- current First Aid and CPR certifications.
