Synaco Global has been asked to source and screen a suitable Accounts Administrator for our client based in Mount Waverley.
The primary objective of this role is to offer administrative support to fellow employees and/or management as needed. Individuals in this position are expected to be versatile and ready to work across different business areas, acquiring new skills as necessary. Training will be provided due to the varied nature of work.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinating various administrative processes, such as tasks associated with administration, daily WIP lists for task prioritization, Eftpos and credit card transaction processing, record-keeping, booking appointments for financial planners and accountants, and managing and responding to emails.
- Handling invoice and purchase order processing, audit engagement letters and reports, setting up SMSF audit files, and establishing tax files and jobs.
- Executing day-to-day administrative activities to ensure the smooth operation of business processes and functions.
- Working within and maintaining filing systems, conducting data entry, and updating databases as required.
- Ensuring timely and accurate entry and processing of data into necessary operating systems and completing any required reporting.
- Ordering and managing office supplies as needed.
To be eligible for this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Experience in an accounting firm is highly desirable.
- Intermediate computer literacy in MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and the ability to adapt to various software products.
- Flexibility, an open-minded and adaptive approach with a willingness to learn.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete tasks professionally, courteously, safely, efficiently, and with a focus on quality.
