This is an exciting opportunity for a Team Coordinator on a Permanent Full Time Basis.
This role is based at our brand-new state-of-the-art South Metro Depot in Forrestdale, conveniently located next to Tonkin Highway. Spanning across 120,000 square meters, the depot offers an excellent on-site café, end of trip facilities including secure bicycle storage and freshening up rooms. About this role
As the Team Coordinator you will be required plan and take a lead role in coordinating onsite work activities enabling the team to construct, maintain and inspect high voltage plant and equipment throughout the Southwest Interconnected Network (SWIN) in accordance with customer requirements and Western Power standards in a safe, reliable and affordable manner.
About you
We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:
- Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems Distribution / Transmission Overhead OR Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems Distribution Cable Jointing
- HOU/LOU Switching (Essential)
- Glove & Barrier or High Voltage Live line stick
- Valid WA ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence (subject to business requirements)
- Relevant Network Authorisation including Construction industry white card and Basic Emergency Life Support (within the first month of employment)
- Demonstrated industry experience in the construction and maintenance of transmission and/or distribution electricity network
- Application of Western Power’s IT systems as required (Preferred)
