Administration Assistant (Permanent Part-time)

Requirements
- simPRO experience preferred but is not essential
- MS Suite experience is essential
- Well organized and able to prioritise tasks
- Great telephone manner and ability to be warm, friendly and engaging, yet can politely end a conversation too to keep moving through tasks.

More about the Role
We currently have an opening for an Administration Assistant for 3 days per week with the potential to expand to 4 days.
We require someone who has previous administrative experience and is highly competent with the below essential non-negotiable skills & requirements:
• Phenomenal time management
• Word, excel and other office-related software
• Fast and accurate data entry, minimum 55-wpm
• Professional phone manner and customer service
• Professional self-presentation
• Clear & concise communication style both verbally and written
• Able to work under pressure without dropping your bundle
• Willing & able to ask for help / support to ensure the smooth daily running of the business.
• Able to work with and report to the office manager to meet deadlines
• Personally assertive, self-motivated, coachable and have healthy self-esteem
• Able to work in a male dominated industry
• Be willing to constantly update job knowledge and expand skill set
• Be willing to participate in and contribute to personal development for self, team & the business
** It would also be an advantage if you had the below experience, however these are not essential:
• SimPRO experience.
• Electrical industry experience, other trade experience
• Knowledge of QLD Smoke Alarm Compliance
• Building Social media content
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
• Scheduling & coordinating trades
• Communicating changes as they occur and responding to client and staff needs so that they can complete the work in the agreed timeframe.
• Generating purchase orders
• Quoting on minor works
• Preparing Invoices
• General office duties as required
