Role Overview

As the Team Coordinator - WorkPrograms and Reactive Maintenance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the road network's compliance with regulations and delivering high-quality services. This leadership position involves overseeing teams, optimising works programs, and maintaining a strong commitment to safety and Council values.

  • Programming and Budgeting of Works
  • Program Supervision and Delivery
  • Procurement and Contract Management
  • Plant Operations and Records
  • Customer Service
  • Workplace Health and Safety

Qualifications and Licences:

  • Current C (Car) Class Driver Licence
  • General Construction Induction (White) Card.
  • Maranoa Regional Council Verification of Skill Level for Mobile Plant.

Desirable Qualifications and Licences:

  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering or infrastructure.
  • RIIWHS302D – Implement Traffic Management Plan.
  • Certificate IV in Civil Construction or Local Government (Operational Works), or willingness to commence study.
  • Level 2 in Traffic Control Accreditation.
  • Relevant mobile plant training.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Supervisory experience in civil infrastructure maintenance.
  • Strong program planning and budgeting skills.
  • Knowledge of government regulations and the civil construction industry.
  • Commitment to safety and Council values.
  • Previous experience in local government or construction/maintenance is beneficial.
