The purpose of the role is to manage the team of Security Officers in a designated area, ensuring relief breaks and staff rotations occur in a timely manner. The major focus is to control access to the Gaming Floor by refusing entry to minors, intoxicated persons and those who do not meet the dress code, while delivering an exceptional customer service experience to all patrons.Accredited Activities:
- Ensuring that the RTO complies with the AQTF Standards for Registered Training Organisations across all of its operations and in all of its training and/or assessment activities
- Managing staff professional development requirements to ensure currency in VET sector and area of training
- Managing staff files
- New trainer inductions
- Conducting internal audits
- Coordinating and participating in assessment validation activities
- Developing language, literacy and numeracy programs to ensure client needs are met in line with Standards for Registered Training Organisations
- Developing and reviewing Training and Assessment Strategies
- Coordinating strategies to ensure industry consultation, employer feedback and participant feedback initiatives to meet industry needs and facilitate an environment of continuous improvement
- Coordinating Student Management System
- Issuance of all certificates and statements of attainment
- Government / Registering body reporting
- Version control of training documents
- Developing and reviewing policies and procedures
- Developing and reviewing training and assessment resources including assessment instruments
Non-accredited activities:
- Subject matter expert in TMS, providing guidance and support to state businesses
- Providing monthly reports on TMS completion rates
- Developing training programs as appropriate to meet state / industry needs
- Coordinating and conducting face to face training as required
- Monthly meetings with state businesses
- Assisting businesses with Training and Development content for tender submissions and client specific requests
- Ensuring that training objectives are being met in line with the Training and Development Strategic Plan
- Any additional duties as requested by Management
