Program Overview
Our Cairns Education, Training and Employment Program (CETEP) deliver case management services, education, training and employment support services to provide positive outcomes for young people engaged with our organisation. CETEP engages with young people who are at risk of disconnecting from their family, community or support networks, disengaging from school, training and/or employment, harm and/or homelessness. The aim to ensure that young people; experience positive relationships with their family and community, are engaged in education, training and/or employment, lead healthy and violence free lives and have safe and stable places to live. As the Team leader of this service, you will be leading a team of dedicated and experienced people with a passion to see the participants of our programs succeed.
To Be Successful You Will Need
- The Ability to effectively lead a team to deliver service programs and ensure they remain aligned with organisational goals and objectives.
- Extensive experience working within government funded programs.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government bodies, community organisations, and other service providers to promote the organisation and its services.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the capacity to motivate and effectively lead a team.
- Comprehensive knowledge of organisational programs, policies, and operations.
- Tertiary qualifications combined with relevant industry experience or extensive industry experience.
- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, families and communities will be highly regarded.
- Experience working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds will be highly regarded.
- Out of hours may be required from time to time
- Intra and interstate travel may be required
Compliance
- A current QLD drivers licence ‘Class C’ or interstate equivalent
- Blue Card (Working with children card)
- A current national Police Check (within the last 3 months)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certifications
