We are currently seeking applications for a TeamLeader (ASO6) to join the Claims Management team at SuperSA, Department of Treasury and Finance
This is a temporary Fixed Term contract of up to 12months.
Remuneration: ASO6 – Salary Range($97,022 p.a. - $102,626 p.a.)

About the opportunity
The Team Leader, Claims Management is responsible for theleadership and management of the Claims Management team. The teamdelivers specialist claims management, deals with insuranceapplications, and provides customer service to members andstakeholders.
The Team Leader has extensive contact with internal and externalcustomers and will be required to work collaboratively with allteams within Super SA and staff across other Government Agencies toachieve required business outcomes.
About you
You will have leadership experience in a service deliveryenvironment where services are delivered across multiple channels.In this role you will be required to work on complex cases andprovide technical support to the team. Experience in reviewingdeath, total and permanent disablement and income protection claimswill be highly regarded.
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Experience in leading change and developing new conceptsand procedures to improve services and maximiseperformance.
- Demonstrated experience in case reviews, complaintresolution, external dispute resolution and litigationmatters.
- Ability to interpret and adhere to legislation andregulatory requirements within the life insuranceindustry.
- Ability to work independently within guidelines, whilemeeting critical deadlines and utilising excellent attention todetail skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, influenceand negotiate with a diverse range of clients at various levels(both verbal and written).
