About the Department for Correctional Services
The Department employs approximately 2,000 staff and has responsibility for nine prisons and fifteen Community Correctional offices across the state. Our vision is for a safer community by protecting the public and reducing re-offending. Duties
The Team Leader, Human Resources is operationally accountable to the Business Centre Manager for leadership, coordination and the provision of quality human resource services including rostering, recruitment and position management, leave management, employment contracts, worker’s compensation and HR reporting within specified Correctional Business Centre region.
Special Conditions
- Position is located at Northern Metro Correctional Business Centre, Northfield.
- Section 47 of the Public Sector Act 2009 applies in accordance with other provisions of the act and other applicable industrial entitlements
- The incumbent is required to satisfactorily complete a National Criminal History Record Check
- Some out of hours work may be required and intra-state travel will be required
- A current SA Driver’s Licence is essential

Desirable: Appropriate post secondary qualifications in a business/commercial discipline

ASO4 ($75,430 - $79,070pa)
