As a Team Leader, you will provide hands-on leadership to guide staff to provide person-centered care, while adhering to company policies and NDIS regulations.

About the role:
- Provide on-the-job support and leadership to support workers and manage day-to-day queries, working a Monday to Friday roster..
- Assist with the induction of new staff including on-site training and shadow shifts.
- Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures, WHS policies, compliance & regulatory requirements.
- Promote independence for participants and coordinate community access activities.
- Plan support for participants in a range of areas based on their goals and care plans.
- Manage all aspects of team performance including rosters, performance management, records management, quality, and compliance.
- Update care plans with new information as and when required.
- Perform On Call for a week every 5 weeks.
Skills & Experience:
You will have:
- At least one year of proven experience as a Team Leader.
- You’ll have previous experience and an understanding of the NDIS, The NDIS practice standards and participant support requirements.
- Have experience with complex behaviour.
- Be self-motivated and organised, with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Current NDIS screening check clearance.
- Current CPR, and First Aid certificates.
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
