In this role, you'll:
Take on the position of Team Leader, working on a solid range of civil-related projects across the Region. This could include anything from vegetation control, pothole repair, barrier repair, general maintenance, and more.
Working with your team, you will take responsibility for checking traffic controls are appropriate and functioning correctly, managing hazards, recording work status, reporting incidents, toolbox talks, ordering material and labour, overseeing plant operators, ensuring material is to spec, and equipment is to standard, while ensuring works go down efficiently.
This is a permanent, fulltime role that operates on a 38hr week/9-day fortnight with overtime opportunities. It is offering job security and work-life balance.

About you
You’re experienced being hands on and leading crews in the Civil Construction space. Ideally, you have a worked on a broad range of civil construction projects and maintenance works with experience in traffic control as well as an understanding of relevant plant and equipment.
Trade qualifications aren’t necessary but experience implementing traffic management plans, and implementing safety plans is. You will need to have a Construction White Card and the willingness to gain a Prepare Work Zone Ticket.
In addition to the above, you’re someone who is a good communicator with strong interpersonal skills. You have a great attention to detail with a safety-first attitude and a desire to thrive in a role that has a positive impact on the community.
