Purpose of the Role
The HR TransactionTeam Leader oversees the HR transaction processing team to ensure efficient and effective HR operations. Collaborates with A&G process and system owners to optimize processing effectiveness and efficiency through process improvements enabled by People Systems.
Position Accountabilities
- Lead day-to-day HR transactional operations and oversee end-to-end Tier 1 People Services team
- Manage complex or sensitive HR transactional issues and client needs
- Supervise and support a team, ensuring service quality, operational efficiency, and compliance with SLAs
- Foster team development and knowledge sharing to encourage learning and growth
- Ensure compliance with record-keeping requirements for employee documentation
- Identify and support process improvements based on stakeholder feedback
- Utilise data analysis to identify continuous improvement opportunities for transactional processing and data integrity
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
- Strong understanding of HR organizational policies and practices
- Proven experience in first-line management fostering high reliability, team performance, and culture
- Effective communication skills across various settings, conveying complex ideas clearly
- Ability to collaborate, influence, and partner with internal/external stakeholders
- Capacity to work under tight deadlines and manage competing demands
Desirable:
- Familiarity with legislative and industrial frameworks relevant to HR management
