About the role
This role of the Team leader is to oversee the day to day management of VACCA’s Targeted Care Package program in VACCA’s Northern region. The Team Leader will supervise, engage, guide and support Key Workers in the delivery of the service, in a culturally informed framework. Connection to Culture is a central aspect of VACCAs TCP program.
About You
Demonstrated commitment and understanding for the values that underpin VACCA’ vision and purpose
Demonstrated awareness and appreciation of Aboriginal societies and cultures, and commitment to continually build knowledge of such, along with a high level of awareness of the key issues which impact upon Aboriginal communities
Demonstrated experience and ability in the provision of a high standard of case management practice.
A demonstrated ability to mentor staff by providing them with relevant information, support, feedback about their work, and opportunities for professional development.
A demonstrated capacity to work as part of a team as well as providing leadership to a team and capacity to allocate tasks.
Excellent oral and written skills, with the ability to write reports, including Incident Reports and Court Reports.
Strong computer skills with ability to learn the CRIS and CRISSP client data systems
Requirements
A Tertiary qualification in the field of social work, youth work, psychology or community services and extensive relevant experience, or a combination of experience, expertise and competence sufficient to perform the duties required.
Minimum 3 years of experience
You must have and continue to hold a full Victorian Driver’s Licence, a current employment Working With Children Check card and a clear National Police Check
Current COVID-19 vaccination (including booster dose, as applicable)
