About the Roles – Team Member Civil Services x 5 positions
- Reference number 130, 136, 146, 262 and 261
- Grade 5: $70,986 - $72,856 (FTE) plus superannuation
- Full Time, Permanent
- We are seeking a highly motivated and suitably skilled individual to join our Civil Services team. You will be responsible for delivering field-based civil works duties in a variety of work environments across the Council district. Positions are available at either Council’s Northern Operations Centre (Gumeracha), or Council’s Southern Operations Centre (Heathfield).
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Practical experience in civil maintenance or construction works.
- Certificate III in Civil Construction or willingness to undertake.
- A current Medium Rigid Driver’s Licence (essential).
- White Card accreditation (essential).
- Work Zone Traffic Management ticket (desirable).
- Demonstrated ability to work safely in a team environment and to identify and report on workplace health and safety incidents and hazards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to liaise confidently and courteously with internal and external stakeholders.
A valid National Police Certificate which is satisfactory to the Council’s requirements will be required before the successful applicant can commence in this position.
