It’s time for people who live, work and play in the region to enjoy and celebrate all the things we love about Lismore, to Back Lismore.We #backlismore careers and embrace those who bring fresh perspectives and unique talents, making our journey toward greater success all the more vibrant and rewarding.The Team Member Sportsfields is responsible for the maintenance and monitoring of Lismore City Council's sports field's and in particular the preparation of turf wickets and baseball grounds, line marking and setting out along with sporing filed maintenance, mowing/edging, goal post installations/removal and landscape maintenance. This is a permanent role forming part of our hardworking and dedicated Open Spaces team. You'll be working in a full time 76 hours per fortnight position that will primarily be based at our Brunswick Street Depot in Lismore.What we can offer youAttractive salary range from $54,502 to $62,277 plus superannuationFlexible work options working within operational requirements.Health & Wellbeing and Employee Assistance Programs.Training and development opportunities to build and maintain capabilitiesWhat we trust you to deliverCustomer driven service delivery - Consistently produce high quality and timely outcomes in the maintenance of sporting fields including turf wickets. Mow, spray and generally maintain parks, reserves, road reserves and sporting field areas and provide a level of service which meets the expectations of the community.Undertake works in accordance with WHS requirements - Follow defined work health and safety policies and procedures to ensure the safety of yourself and that of the public and others in the workplace.Time management skills - Align service delivery to meet current tasked schedules and rosters.Operation of Plant - Operate and maintain small and medium plant items including truck and tractor for line marking.Communication and Consultation- Communicate positively and respectively and work co-operatively with other Team Members and staff.
