AddressPosition Purpose
The primary responsibility of the Tech Lead/ Salesforce Solution Designer is to provide technical expertise, guidance and produce designs for various Salesforce initiatives and projects. This includes being responsible for the high-level architecture through to detailed design and working with individual project teams to ensure appropriate delivery of the solutions to the satisfaction of the customers.
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible in producing solution diagrams and associated design artefacts.
- Guiding the development team in using the latest Salesforce technology which may include Lightning, Apex, Platform Shield, Files Connect, Lightning Connect, Heroku, Platform Events and Salesforce DX.
- Providing assurance that the project or program is appropriately using Salesforce technical capabilities to solve business problems.
- Review and provide feedback on technical solution designs and development work carried out.
- Own and lead the overarching technical solution design documentation in collaboration with the rest of the delivery team and stakeholders.
Knowledge and skills
- 5+ years prior experience in Salesforce services cloud/case management and Salesforce Communities
- Experience in designing complex Salesforce solutions including experience in API integration and design
- Experience with and analysis of data schemas and objects
- Experienced Lightening web components and UI design with HTML & CSS
- Domain knowledge in Salesforce security features, including access management and general platform administration
- Experience establishing and scaling Salesforce capability
- Comfortable working in on Greenfield initiatives and in ambiguous environments
- Experience establishing a service integration capability specifically based on MuleSoft.
- Deep understanding of SDLC principles and the software development lifecycle, including Agile and DevOps practices and methodologies
- Experience with AWS, Azure, JIRA, MS Project, and PPM tools is desirable
