Technical Consultant

The Role  

As a Technical Consultant at Antares, you will use both your design and development skills to lead in the implementation of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing projects across multiple clients. 

This role would suit someone with a technical background, with specialised experience within the Microsoft BI stack and a strong business focus. Ideally you will bring at least 2 years of working experience with the Microsoft BI stack (Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Data Bricks, Data Lakes, Azure Synapse), as well as experience with Commercial Microsoft Fabric and Machine Learning modelling.  

You will be comfortable talking about, and facilitating the value of data and business impact, at a business level, with a range of different customers and stakeholders. The right candidate will display a real passion for staying up to date with Microsoft’s goals and vision. 

You will need technical ability to perform in the role, but you will also have a strong technical team around you to bounce off and lean on when required.  

About you 

• At least 2+ years of current, technical working experience with Azure Data Platform (Data Factory, Data Lake, SQL Database) 

• Previous experience of Commercial Microsoft Fabric 

• Experience with Development in Fabric Spark Notebook 

• Machine Learning modelling experience 

• DevOps CI/CD on Microsoft Fabric experience 

• Previous working experience Azure Data Modelling and Tabular Modelling 

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. We are looking for a confident speaker with an engaging personality and ability to build rapport easily 

• Experience in facilitating data use cases and requirements with business stakeholders  

• Experience with leading data platform implementations and estimations
