We manufacture high-performance polymer seals that are designed for use in a broad range of hydraulic, pneumatic, and rotating equipment. As the name would suggest, we focus on innovative customised solutions for our customer requirements.
About the role:
We’re currently seeking an enthusiastic Technical Customer Service & Sales Support person to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis in our Wangara manufacturing facility. This is a diverse, technical role with a strong customer focus combining sales, Customer Service, and hydraulic cylinder engineering. It would suit someone with a background in engineering or exposure to mining or oil and gas industries and who excels in a close-knit small team dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key activities include:
• Sales order processing
• Creating production documents ready for manufacturing
• Interrogation of ERP to identify manufacturing components
• Creation and review of Bill of Materials (BOMs)
• Stock audits and inventory review
• Supporting production with technical application queries
• Using measuring tools such as Vernier, micrometer, radius gauges to measure samples and materials
• Interact with all facets of the business including sales, logistics, finance, and production, being a central source of information
Given the small team structure, we encourage everyone to be accountable, contribute beyond their designated responsibilities and assist with various tasks as needed.
Essential Requirements:
• 1-2 years’ experience in a Technical Customer Service role, preferably in a manufacturing or related industry
• An understanding of hydraulics or fluid sealing or interest in pursuing a career in this field
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawing
• Strong analytical skills with a high level of initiative, integrity and self-motivation
• Solutions driven with a passion for knowledge and learning
• A strong sense of urgency with a commitment to achieving production and sales targets
• A collaborative mindset and solid problem solving skills
• High attention to detail and good organisational skills
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
Desirable:
• Further education in Mechanical Engineering (e.g., Certificate, Diploma, Degree)
• Solidworks or CAD experience/ability
• Experience with measuring tools such as Vernier, micrometer, radius gauges etc.
