The Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Technical Data Analyst to join the team at Northern Health.
As a member of the Decision Support team, the Technical Data Analyst position will work closely with the Analytics and Reporting Manager and Data Analysts, utilising the information stored in the data warehouse to support the organisations reporting and analytical requirements.
The role will be required to data mine in new and existing healthcare systems with the ability to extract, organize, and analyse large and complex datasets with a high degree of accuracy. The role will also be required to support the management of reporting requests received through Decision Support.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- experience in data extraction and reporting along with the ability to interpret complex datasets to support decision making and planning.
- experience in using analytical tools and techniques to provide recommendations and effectively present results
- strong data mining skills with the ability to analyse and clearly present data to stakeholders
- a high level of computer literacy, specifically the ability to mine and manage large volumes of data with complex definitions.
- highly developed self-management skills including the ability to meet timelines and prioritize competing demands
