We have a brand-new opportunity for an experienced illustrator to join our engineering team in Clayton as a Technical Document Writer.
About the Role
In this role, the successful individual will lead the development of clear, concise, and legally compliant Technical Documentation, both for internal and external use. Responsibilities include crafting customer-facing materials such as catalogues, operational guides, and support documentation to ensure customers have access to accurate and helpful information.
Further responsibilities include
- Maintenance of the catalogues for Bucher Municipal products
- Analyse , research and process engineering changes to the catalogues
- Work closely with the engineering and product teams and provide support with graphic design and visualisation.
- Validate documentation against the product
What we are looking for
- This position would suit a self-starter with a technical background and creative skills and experience including:
- Experience in the field of technical illustration and technical writing
- Solid experience using DTP and illustrator software - SolidWorks Composer , Adobe Illustrator
- Strong command of written English and technical writing ability
- Good CAD skills and An understanding of Spare Parts Management
- Good ERP and PLM knowledge
- Ability to analyse and interpret engineering documentation, including technical drawings
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
