The Company
An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic Operations Technical Writer/ Document Controller to join this reputable ASX listed global infrastructure company based in the heart of the CBD. The Role
Reporting to the Operations Support Manager, your main responsibilities will be to provide valuable operational and document support for the Victorian Operations and Maintenance Team. You will also research and analyse information to update processes and documents, as well as maintain a comprehensive library for the division.
Your key accountabilities will include but not limited to:
- Develop and refine documents and plans
- Create and enhance technical documentation, including user manuals, checklists, technical guides, and systems specifications
- Collaborate across teams to document system architectures, manuals and user interface descriptions
- Maintain accurate record keeping via Sharepoint
- Act as the information hub for documents and records related tasks
- Internal and external stakeholder management
- Assist with a seamless transition to the new upcoming infrastructure project
What you will need to succeed?
- Proven experience in a document management/project coordinator/technical writing position
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- An analytical approach with strong research capabilities
- A driven, self motivated and positive individual who can work autonomously as well as in a team
