We have an opening for a Technical Pricing Lead in our Personal Lines business to develop and continuously improve market-leading technical pricing models.
A bit about the job:
Reporting to the Head of Home and Lifestyle Category, you will lead a team responsible for building, delivering and continually improving market leading technical pricing models to generate profitable growth and customer value for Aviva's UK home insurance business.
This role is accountable for the provision of a deep understanding of emerging and future claims trends and how these are reflected in forward-looking projected performance and technical models. This will require strong collaboration and leadership across the manufacturing end to end system (Claims, Finance, Actuarial and Analytics).
You will use powerful supporting internal and external insights together with existing and new data sources to identify emerging opportunities, influence future home insurance pricing strategy and delivery of value to our customers. This is a key leadership position within Personal Lines and you will have the opportunity to focus on your own growth and development as well as leading and nurturing a growth mindset both in your direct team and across the home insurance end to end system.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
- Curious and highly analytical with strong capability to interpret data and establish solutions to complex problems
- Excellent communication and influencing skills. Strong business acumen and commercial focus
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects and requests
- Numerate degree or equivalent previous personal lines underwriting and pricing experience
- Sound understanding of UK personal lines market

- National salary £85,000 and London salary £95,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
