Our client is a major mining client based in WA however with operations around the world. The successful candidate will be working within a busy project team, across a couple of major projects.
The position on offer is for a Project Controls Lead that, will be working as a sole resource (no team leading experience required), in a hands-on capacity.
The successful MUST have:
- 8+ years’ experience in a similar role on large projects.
- Working technical knowledge of both planning highly regarded.
- Ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Ability to proactively manage a team and provide guidance and leadership.
- Experience in all facets of Project Controls including but not limited to; planning, cost control, document control and Project Controls reporting.
- Understanding of Projects from concept through to commissioning.
- Experienced in a wide range of project control tools and work processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of Project Controls to support current and future project development and construction.
- Responsible for the development of integrated schedules.
- Cost reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
- Ensuring support of the Projects Group with progress reporting including schedule updates, forecast to complete, variance identification and opportunities for improvement.
- Review and maintain the company work breakdown structure (WBS) for reporting.
- Embed and develop a strong project culture built on the company’s values.
- Ability to proactively manage key stakeholders and influence.
