Let’s talk about the roles and responsibilities:

Capgemini Engineering Australia is looking for an experienced Technical Leader in network Security to join our Telecom & Network Services team. In this role, you will lead projects focusing on security solutions such as Firewalls (FTD and ASA), ISE, IPS, Secure Access, Secure Workload, Email and Web Security, and SIEM. You will also have the opportunity to engage in cloud, automation, and orchestration projects. System Testing: Design, develop, and conduct comprehensive system tests for SD-WAN solutions, including verification, regression, stability, and performance tests.

  • Lead customer engagements including planning, design, implementation, optimization, and automation services.
  • Own the technical engagement with customers, identifying issues and developing the best solutions.
  • Translate customer business requirements into technical requirements and guide the creation, validation, deployment, and automation of design documents.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and Cisco delivery and account team members.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
  • At least 10 years of experience in designing, deploying, operating, and leading scalable security solutions.
  • Expertise in planning, designing, and implementing large-scale projects with a focus on Firewalls (FTD and ASA), ISE, IPS, Secure Access, Secure Workload, Email and Web Security, and SIEM.
  • Strong experience with Cisco networking solutions, routing, and switching.
  • Familiarity with cloud solutions such as AWS, Azure, and Google.
  • Proven experience with Cisco Security hardware platforms and appliances.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem management skills within the Cisco Security portfolio.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of translating complex technical issues to executive and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiar with DevOps principles, Cisco DevNet, and Agile practices.
  • Ability to read and understand code and APIs.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Information Technology or equivalent
  • Self-driven with a passion for continuous learning and adapting to fast-paced environments.
  • Creative thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • CCIE (Security) Certification
  • CISSP Certification
  • Cloud Certifications
  • AGSVA Clearance
