About the Role
coNEXA is experiencing considerable growth in its engineering and projects team, both in the support of the coNEXA owned assets and in supporting our traditional client base in design and delivery of their water project solutions. To support this growth coNEXA is seeking to employ a Project Engineer within the Engineering and Projects team. The role will involve a variety of activities across project design and delivery, as well as providing operational support to the coNEXA and external client operational sites.
The preferred location for the role is Perth, however to accommodate the right candidate, the role could be based in Newcastle or Melbourne.
About You
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred, however consideration will be given to candidates with the relevant Engineering experience/exposure.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in water, wastewater or recycled water, infrastructure design, construction or operation.
- Experience in managing and overseeing water treatment related projects.
- Reputation as being a team player.
- Ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables.
- Established track record in problem solving and innovative solutions
- Strong attention to detail in completion of tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects from conception to completion, on time and within budget.
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
