Opportunity

We are seeking a full-time Technical Planner at our Essendon base to support our CAR30 and Part 145 operations. The successful candidate will be in good stead to join a long-standing well respected maintenance organisation giving valuable exposure to the aviation industry. This position will support our engineering team on various turboprop and reciprocating multi-engine aircraft.

Description

As a Technical Planner with GAM, you will be reporting to the Responsible Manager/ Chief Engineer and be responsible for the following.

• The raising, management and acquittal of all maintenance work packs and associated forms and ICA.
• If required by legislation or operator requirements, raising aircraft logbook entries for work completed by the relevant work packs.
• Review and assessment of applicable aircraft maintenance requirements during engagement such as AD’s, SB’s, and special instructions.
• Promotion of internal quality and safety management systems
• Co-ordination with various CAMO/ Operators regarding aircraft maintenance activities, including compliance with various SLA’s
• Investigate and report maintenance issues as they arise identifying solutions to unscheduled delays
• Co-ordination with our logistics and operations team surrounding maintenance activities.

Skills & Experience

• Maintenance skills and experience on GA reciprocating engines and/or turbine engine aircraft.
• Pro-active and positive attitude, holding safety as a core value.
• Broad understanding of CASA airworthiness requirements.
• Previous aircraft management software experience, Aerotrack or similar.
• Certificate IV in Aeroskills or equivalent (Desirable)
• CASR Part 66 B1 and/or B2 licence or equivalent (Desirable)
• Capable of managing multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Attention to detail with commitment to comply with company policies and procedures.
