Technical Product Manager - Mechanical

Hidrive is looking for a Technical Product Manager - specialising in mechanical - to join our team at either Ingleburn or Goulburn office.

The Product Manager’s role is to manage the mechanical portfolio of Hidrive’s product range; understanding the market and strategically plan for new products and updates.

About you

To be successful in this role, you must hold a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design or similar. You will also have at least three years proven experience in a product management environment and working experience using ERP software. If you are proactive, organised and someone who works collaboratively within multiple teams, this is the role for you!

Key Accountabilities

• Develop product scope and deliverables for new products and product improvements.
• Manage product updates and ensure change control is implemented.
• Manage Item data and price lists, ensure they are up to date and accurate.
• Understand the market and ensure that Hidrive remains competitive and market leader.
• Define application of new and existing products to ensure relevance in existing and future markets.
• Collaborate with design and engineering to ensure products are fit for purpose.
• Collaborate with other business functions such as Sales, Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure that customer requirements are supported, and products are implemented effectively.
• Supporter of continuous improvement.
• Create reports on portfolio performance and market analysis.
• Support other key projects that will require product management engagement.
