Light & Wonder’s corporate team is comprised of incredible talent that works across the enterprise, defying boundaries to provide essential services in an extraordinary manner to ensure the success of the organization and the well-being of employees.Position SummaryJob Summary:Responsible for managing IT related projects across the APAC region , leveraging strong business analysis skills to capture and translate stakeholder requirements into successful project implementations.They will be required to developing functional specifications, seeking opportunities for improvements to business processes and working along with the Business Applications team.Duties and Responsibilities:Developing and managing to industry standard project management procedures that govern our project activitiesMaintaining the appropriate balance of scope, quality, schedule and cost across programs and projects to achieve business objectivesDeveloping and maintaining overall program and project implementation plansMonitoring program/project schedules and financials to ensure that work is progressing according to budget and expected delivery timelinesCommunicating an objective periodic (normally weekly) assessment of project status, using metrics when available, to project stakeholders and senior management sponsorsIdentifying, documenting and managing Risks, Actions/Issues and Decisions within the program/projects and ensuring any required follow-up activities are completedEnsuring sign-off from stakeholders on key milestonesIdentifying areas where project team is blocked, facilitating targeted problem solving and next steps for the team to proceedWorking with project team members and stakeholders as needed to communicate and escalate risks and issues to project sponsorsDeveloping presentations and conducting steering committee meetings as requiredManaging stakeholder and project team relationships fostering collaboration and team spirit, demonstrating leadership by exampleChampion continuous improvement initiativesDrive requirement gathering sessions, facilitate workshops and provide solutions for streamlining delivery.Employ analytical skills to assess business needs, identify process inefficiencies, and evaluate data insights. Translate findings into actionable recommendations for system improvements and process optimizations.Collaborate with stakeholders to document and model current and future business processes. Leverage diverse stakeholder input to ensure processes align with organizational goals and user needs.Lead requirement gathering sessions through effective questioning techniques and active listening. Design and facilitate engaging workshops to collaboratively develop solutions that streamline project delivery.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Extensive attention to detail – ability to define and monitor detailed project deliverables, risks, issues and action items and work with team to drive them to completionSuperior communication skills – ability to effectively lead meetings and communicate project status/issues to all levels of the organization, including senior managementStrong leadership skillsExcellent time management skills with a willingness to manage various types of projects concurrentlyProject Management certification preferableExcellent problem solving skills3-5 years’ Experience working as a Business Analyst on IT projectsProven experience in documenting business requirements, and translating these into system featuresUnderstanding of integrated systems and business processes.Able to work unsupervised and effectively in a teamHighly developed analytical and problem solving skillsExtensive working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams and Power PointExperience, Education and Qualification:3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.Experience leading project teams in a matrix organization-Experience leading IT Infrastructure projects-Experience managing project financials (budget, forecast, actual spend) with an understanding of capital vs expense spendingQualifications
