We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic sales professional with experience within the surveying industry to join our team! We are open to considering applications from candidates located in both Brisbane and Perth.
What you'll be doing:
- Achieve sales targets for this growing multi-million dollar business segment, that is strategically critical to achieving the region's overall revenue objectives.
- Increase market share by working closely with the existing Mine Monitoring team in Brisbane as well as the Leica Monitoring Team in Heerbrugg, Switzerland.
- Execute sales/go to market strategies to expand existing business, while also uncovering and nurturing new opportunities to achieve growth expectations.
- Leveraging your professional network and interpersonal strengths to build strategic relationships with mining customers.
- Provide a high level of technical competency in Surveying, especially monitoring workflows to best promote our solutions, including the associated Feature, Benefit, Value propositions to our customers.
- Define and execute monitoring projects and their requirements, from start to finish.
- Install monitoring solutions, set up total stations (Leica), carry out small control surveys (occasionally). Basic understanding of computer networking required.
- Interaction with our channel partners to follow a coordinated market access.
About you:
- Bachelor's degree or similar qualification in Surveying, Engineering or related discipline with proven industry experience.
- 5+ years of surveying, in particular monitoring experience.
- Understanding of financial concepts and proven experience in managing a P&L is desired.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills are necessary. Ability to confidently speak and present in front of clients.
- Motivated and energised by meeting new people and building relationships.
- Strong understanding of and passion for surveying, engineering and/or related technologies.
- Familiarity with the Leica Geosystems product lines is a bonus. Particularly solutions used within monitoring.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Microsoft Suite and networking experience required.
- Ability to travel (some international) - there is considerable travel required to fulfil this role.
