We are made up of engineers, remote sensing analysts, GIS data specialist, commercial and customer relations leaders. Our work spans Australia wide with projects across the resources, infrastructure, conservation and public sectors.
The Opportunity
Due to strong business growth, we are seeking a full-time role Technical Sales Support Specialist to join our team in Melbourne. This role will see you contribute to our sales operations, assisting with customer service, and ensuring smooth communication between the technical team and customers. The role is primarily located in Doncaster East, VIC, with flexibility for some remote work.
You should possess a combination of key competencies that enable you to effectively manage sales processes, manage project, support data records, sales transactions, and coordinate internal processes.
The Candidate
To be successful for the role, you will need some key competency and a proactive attitude. Some attributes and skills you need to bring are:
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail is necessary for accurately recording and managing data in CRM systems, generating project quotations, and ensuring precise project specifications.
- Time Management and Prioritisation: Strong organisational skills are needed to manage multiple tasks, projects, and customer interactions simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Customer-Centric Approach: A genuine passion for client success, coupled with the ability to understand and address customer needs, is vital for building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional service.
- Reporting and Numeric Acumen: Solid skills using Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Powerpoint, Excel) and ability to learn and use new systems (e.g. CRM, Dashboards, Web-based reporting and analysis tools).
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 3 years in a Technical Sales Support, Project Coordination and/or Sales Operations position
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer-focused attitude and seeking to improve client experience
- Knowledge of GIS, aerial survey and mapping is a plus
- Experience with project management is a plus
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
The position will be subjected to a 3-month probation period and will be based in our Melbourne (Doncaster) office.
