Technical Service Supervisor

Multotec Australia is part of a global group of companies that designs, manufactures and services mineral processing and beneficiation equipment for the Australian minerals, aggregate and mining market. The head office is in Brisbane, with Service and Sales branches around the country in mining areas.
This role is Emerald based on servicing the lower Bowen Basin and Surat Basin regions. You will work alongside our field service maintenance and sales teams to engage with customers to deliver their required outcomes. You will have a strong drawing and design capability to develop and support product supply, development and improvement alongside your service activities. It is important that you understand the philosophy of “cost out” and “plant availability” as key drivers that each of our mining clients aims to achieve.
Operational Responsibilities:

• Attend site with service team as primary technical contact, measure, scan and report on conditions and improvement opportunities.
• Use site reports to develop rapport with customers and seek out sales opportunities for products and services alongside salespersons.
• Complete CAD drawings and proposals to support product delivery and supply of screen media, process equipment, and wear lining solutions.
• Adhere to WHS duty of care at all times for yourself and any team you may lead. Adherence to strict safe working and fatigue management practices is expected to be followed in accordance with site safe work practices.
• Behave in a respectable manner at all times, promoting Multotec supply, service and products.
• Establish an understanding of the Customers' full requirements that will benefit the customer's needs & Multotec's ongoing relationship as a major supplier.
• Coordinate with the team as to site requirements to time frame windows for allocated work to be completed.
• Liaise with FSM teams and shut planning to ensure pre-planned material and processes are available ahead of time.
• Ensure administrative functions are completed and compliant with Multotec standards within the expected time frame.
• Review site requirements and processes with the sales team to identify improvements.

• Keep records of design, measurements and technical engagement through reports and always look for improvement opportunities.
• Manage the condition monitoring system to generate timeous customer reports with all relevant details
• General email, Microsoft Teams, and phone communication with sales, service and technical teams.
• Compile commissioning reports for new equipment installations.

• Tertiary or diploma CAD and drawing qualifications or relevant experience
