Founded in 2008, Wine Energy Pty Ltd is an integral part of the Australian wine industry; growing to be one of the most pre-eminent suppliers of winemaking equipment to Australian wine growers.
The technician will be involved in implementing a yearly procedure to follow up and assist with Wine Energy clients to guarantee all are satisfied with the equipment we supply.
Further to this, the Technician will be tasked with commissioning new equipment as it arrives, regular yearly servicing of all machinery types and supporting Wine Energy's clients during the vintage period, providing service assistance to any machinery breakdowns during this peak period in the wine industry.
The Technician has a key position in the company and will be a vital member of the technical team, reporting to the General manager. With multiple opportunities to explore the of South Australia, after one year you will be given the opportunity to travel to France to further your knowledge with Wine Energy's equipment.

- Using our Customer Relationship Management System (CRM), you identify and/or receive work orders, identify faulty equipment, and acquire parts and equipment to complete repairs
- Repair of production equipment from basic hydraulic equipment to complex PLC machinery work.
- Repairing critical equipment, performing preventative and predictive maintenance, and completing projects such as mechanical and electrical hardware and software upgrades
- Communicating accurately, concisely, and professionally with your customer as to important repair steps taken, parts ordered, and time estimated until completion
- Acquiring new electrical, mechanical, pneumatics and hydraulics knowledge, better positioning you for advancement
- Supply the management team verbally and by using the CRM system on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Expert level break-fix & preventative machine/maintenance experience required.
- Experience with advanced PLC.
- Ability to read and interpret machine design drawings
- Understands mechanical, electrical, fluid power and control systems.
- High ability to analyse, troubleshoot and perform repairs.
- Demonstrated ability to perform electronic, mechanical and hydraulic repairs.
- Basic Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) knowledge is desired.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and customer service skills.
- A team player that is a highly disciplined, problem-solver with a strong work ethic.
- Experienced in winery equipment, working with presses, sorting lines & filters (Desirable)
- Must be physically fit
- Willing to use Apple system applications and CRM software.
- Willing to travel within Australia and overseas.
- Driving licence is necessary, a strong interest in working within the wine industry is important.
