Position Details
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Home Economics Technician to join our College Community.
This is a part-time position, 22.5 hours 3 days a week or equivalent by negotiation, fixed term commencing 4 June 2024 until 31 December 2024.
Selection Criteria
Essential
• Be prepared to support the Catholic ethos in the performance of their duties as a member of the Lumen Christi College community
• Previous experience in this role or a similar role, preferably within a school environment
Desirable
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the use of sewing machines and overlockers
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in food handling
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the management and control of stock
• Have a proven ability to work in a collaborative environment as a member of a team
• Be able to assist with the development of community amongst staff, students and parents
• Competent in using a recognised stock management system
• Current Western Australian 'C' Class Drivers Licence
• First Aid Certificate
