About the role:
Due to recent growth we are seeking high-quality Audio Visual Technicians, Electrician's or Communications Engineers with the relative experience. We are looking for an experienced senior technician as well as a junior entry level technician willing to continue to learn and develop their trade.
Key Responsibilities for the role:
- General AV maintenance, testing, commissioning and fault finding
- Installation of new equipment such as mixer consoles, LCD, amplifiers, PA's
- Data rack building
- Cable termination and installations
- Configuration of power distribution and communications equipment
- Maintenance of integrated PA/EWIS systems, hearing augmentation equipment
Skills and experience:
- Possess either AV, electrical or communications engineering qualifications
- Solid understanding of AV systems and IT networks
- Digital Audio systems experience along with pproficiency in troubleshooting hardware faults
- Experience in the installation of communication antennas and associated mounting systems both internal and external (roof mount)
- Experience in the installation of communication cabling and termination of associated connectors
- RF Signals & Transmission, MATV knowledge
