The organisation is embarking on a huge digital transformation that will affect all parts of how the organisation operates and delivers services. The Technology and Vendor Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing the technology portfolio, procuring technologies and services as well cultivating strong relationships with vendors. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of technology trends and a proven track record of successful vendor managementAbout the companyThe organisation has embarked on an enterprise-wide digital transformation which will include major changes to how the organisation operates day to day - this includes how they work with the local community and how the business operates internally.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies for technology acquisition, deployment, and lifecycle management.
• Identify and evaluate new technologies and Vendors to meet the organization's needs and objectives.
• Negotiate contracts and service level agreements with vendors to ensure optimal pricing and performance.
• Monitor vendor performance and manage Vendor Relationships to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align technology solutions with business goals and priorities.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in technology management and Vendor relations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (preferable)
• Years of experience in technology management, vendor relations, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of technology trends, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage Vendor Relationships effectively.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholders
