About the role
This role is critical in leading the Emerging Talent program in the Technology function. You will be responsible for leading the attraction, recruitment and onboarding, internships, rotation and roll-off activities for Technology. You will ensure the program achieves key objectives and Technology Graduates are supported and have high retention through post program role placements.
Furthermore, you will build external connections with universities and team members to market Coles technology as a great place to grow tech careers, as well as select and support external events to help increase Coles technology brand awareness as an employer of choice.
About you and your skills
- Demonstrated experience working with Technology leadership to identify / align on program and talent requirements
- Significant experience managing multiple senior stakeholders that often have conflicting agendas
- Must have experience in implementing and communicating technical career opportunities to a wide audience
- Demonstrated experience leading the attraction, recruitment, onboarding, and career development activities
- Comfort in public speaking, ability to engage an audience and inspire followship
- Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
- Experience and knowledge of driving continuous improvement and change
- Demonstrated experience leading a large cross-team multi-faceted program
- Previous experience in supporting a Talent or Graduate Program highly regarded
- Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal with excellent active listening skills.
- Must have proven ability to work effectively at all levels of the organisation
- Experience with social media, event selection and collateral preparation
- Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
