This role is responsible for supporting the Technology Integration Engineering team with pre-design and estimating and providing technical support to internal and external customers. This role has a strong customer focus providing technical support and after sales support.
WHAT YOU’LL DOIn this crucial role, you will be responsible for:Integrating engineered to order solutions across multiple industries
Providing specialist engineering with respect to hazardous area electronic design techniques, IS assessments, hardware selection and safety solutions
Provision of high level project management and project engineering to high profile projects involving a suite of products relevant to mine wide gas systems, control and monitoring solutions, communication solutions battery charger systems, SCADA/PLC integration, VOIP and IP solutions
Ensuring the final product is of high quality and robust, suited for the environment for which it is designed while being manufactured to be cost effective and profitableWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOROn a day to day basis, you will be dealing with people and must have the capacity to demonstrate tolerance, patience and understand the importance of accuracy.Formal qualifications in estimating or equivalent combination of education and experience
Trade, diploma or degree level qualifications in engineering or electronics
Proficient using Microsoft Office applications
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a customer service environment
