About the opportunity
The University’s Technology Services unit provides effective technology leadership, strategy, and expertise through proactive engagement with the University and its partners, with the goal to deliver purposeful and reliable technology systems in line with the expectations and requirements of the University and its customers.
As a member of Technology Services’ Customer Service team, the Technology Support Officer will be responsible for providing Information Technology support to staff and students, work units, teaching spaces and computer laboratories to the University and its partners across the Gold Coast Campus.
This opportunity is located at Bilinga at the southern end of the Gold Coast, which offers the best of the coastal lifestyle.
This position is a 6-month casual opportunity, with an hourly rate between $52.63 and $58.49.
About you
We are seeking applications from experienced Information and Communication Technology (ICT) support professionals who have a drive to deliver the highest standards of services to our internal and partner clients. In addition, you will have:
Tertiary qualifications with strong computing content and/or experience in an ICT user support environment.
A thorough working knowledge and aptitude for various technologies.
Excellent communication skills, and a successful track record guiding clients to a solution either in person, by phone or online.
An innovative, solutions-based approach and demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement of support services, while actively contributing to the success of a team.
