We provide both telecommunications infrastructure construction and maintenance services to corporate, commercial and government agencies. A division of our business also services residential customers. Our team of experienced telecommunication technicians provide customers with specialist industry advice and end-to-end turnkey solutions for the construction of telecommunication and security infrastructure, backed up with lifelong maintenance support.
About the role
iConnected is seeking experienced Civil teams / Subcontractors to help grow our civil and remediation operation having secured multiple long term contracts. This role is also open for existing civil crews whose preference is to work on a contractor basis.
Reporting to a Field Supervisor, responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Perform field surveys and provide required information back to the field supervisor on work required to be completed
- Reading and understanding cable plans and designs
- Civil works by hand or non-destructive techniques and identify / clear blockages
- Haul internal & external cables through underground infrastructure and buildings as required
- Able to locate assets & read DBYD plans
- Pipe Laying
- Pit Installation
- Ability to conduct Boring / Grundomat Operations
- Complete minor concrete and reinstatement activities
- Rod & Rope NBN / Telstra Ducts
- ACM Removal and Disposal
Required Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have experience and the relevant technical knowledge. The following licences and certifications are required:
- Enable ID
- ACMA Registered Cabling Licence (Open)
- Criminal history check (we can arrange through our outsourcing partner)
- Current Driver's Licence
- OHS White Card
- First Aid Training with CPR
