Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Telecomms Project Manager to join our project delivery team in Perth. As a key customer-facing role, the Project Manager will be responsible for the successful initiation, planning, execution, and closure of projects, maintaining coordination across all Business Groups. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading project teams and managing complex telecommunications projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project teams to deliver successful outcomes on telecommunications projects.
- Engage with strategic customers to ensure project objectives are met.
- Initiate, plan, design, execute, monitor, control, and close projects effectively.
- Coordinate information flow between various [Client] Business Groups.
- Provide specialist knowledge and expertise in Information and Communications Technology fields.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, negotiating and communicating effectively.
- Ensure high-quality client service and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience in project management of Private Network Telecommunications projects.
- Strong leadership qualities with proven experience in leading project teams.
- Highly developed oral communication and consulting skills.
- Ability to provide expertise across various ICT fields, including network design and systems integration.
- Experience in the ICT/IT industry, preferably with network design and systems integration.
- Strong client service attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
- Prince2 or PMP project management certification is highly desirable.
- Experience in project managing telecommunications projects in Mining and/or Oil & Gas sectors is an advantage.
- Mandatory Qualifications: Appropriate tertiary qualification, Project Management Certification, 6+ years of Project Management experience in delivering Telecommunications projects, highly developed communication skills (verbal and written), with demonstrated experience in report writing.
