Please note this is a on-site trade based role. This is not a desk/computer based role and requires you to work on construction sites and in existing apartment buildings daily.
We are a well-established and quality focused Telecommunications Company in the greater Sydney area with an outstanding level of customer service and workmanship. We specialise in MATV / SMATV system installations and maintenance, Fibre Optics and Data Network installations and certifications.
Our customers are commercial entities and medium to large residential buildings and developments.
Due to a constantly growing workload, we are looking for an enthusiastic & hardworking individual who is willing to learn, wants to become part of a great team and enjoys a good and friendly work environment.
The position is suitable for anyone capable & confident enough to work on roofs & in roof spaces with an attention to detail. Please note this is an 'on-site' role, where the majority of your days will be spent either at construction sites or unit complexes undertaking physical installation, maintenance and repair of MATV/SMATV/IPTV systems.
No experience necessary but a basic technical understanding and capability of performing light manual work is required. You will receive on the job training from one of our qualified technicians, your role will be to support them with the goal to graduate to a qualified telecommunications technician yourself.
Main Duties:
- Assisting installation & Service of TV Antennas and Satellite Dishes 90-300cm
- Assisting installation & Termination of Data Cabling
- Assisting installation & Service of Telecommunications Equipment
- Assisting installation & Termination of Fibre Optic Cabling
- Troubleshooting and fault finding within telecommunications and AV systems
- Repair and maintenance of existing TV systems
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

- NSW Drivers License (preferred)

- No criminal history (Police Check is required)
- Ability to perform light manual work on construction sites

- Standard 38hr week, if more hours are required these will either be paid or you can take time off
