Telecommunications Network Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Network Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunication systems, including data networks, cloud voice platforms, and other wireless technologies. This individual should demonstrate excellent technical skills, an aptitude for problem-solving, and the ability to interact with clients in a professional and friendly manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications equipment and systems, such as telephones, cables, VoIP, Internet connectivity devices, and other related technologies.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of systems to ensure their functionality and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to telecommunication systems, and perform necessary repairs.
• Evaluate system performance levels, identify user needs, and recommend improvements as necessary.
• Coordinate with other members of the team and other departments to ensure seamless telecommunications in all areas of the organisation.
• Assist in the design and installation of telecommunication infrastructure for new facilities or system upgrades.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users to help them understand and use telecommunication systems effectively.
• Document all installations, repairs, and system updates, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Comply with all safety procedures and regulations at all times, maintaining a secure working environment.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments, including new products and techniques.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a telecommunications technician, preferably in a similar setting.
• Solid understanding of telecommunications systems, including VoIP, data networks, wireless technology, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team and interact professionally with clients.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest telecommunications systems and trends.
• Professional certification in telecommunications or related fields is a plus.
• Willingness to work outside standard business hours, as required.
• Ability to work on traditional PABX systems such as NEC and Panasonic.
