About us:
Tele-Psych is actively seeking a dedicated and empathetic Clinical/General Psychologist to enhance our Telehealth team. Our unique service extends across Australia, providing access to Registered Psychologists through online video or telephone consultations. We cater to a diverse clientele, including those eligible for Medicare Rebate, Private Fee, Health Insurance, Workcover, and Bulk Billing.
What we are looking for:
The ideal candidate for this role would be a clinician with expertise in treating a range of conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, grief and loss, sleep difficulties, trauma, adjustment disorder, anger management, and stress & burnout.
This subcontractor role is perfect for someone who can work independently From Home and possesses the expertise to enhance client mental health using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, EMDR, DBT, and/or ACT. Experience in cognitive assessment, not necessary but would be highly valued. This role allows you to Work From Home and work around your schedule.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Implement evidence-based psychological services, including assessments and interventions.
- Manage time effectively to maintain scheduled appointment times.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress notes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and entities as required.
- Commit to professional development and enhancing therapeutic skills.

Key Selection Criteria:
- Full AHPRA registration as a Clinical or General Psychologist.
- Availability to work a minimum of 2 days per week, with flexible scheduling.
- A private, distraction-free workspace for video and telephone client sessions. (No in person sessions)
- A reliable computer, web camera, microphone, and stable internet connection needed.
- Own current Professional Indemnity Insurance.
- Own ABN or willingness to obtain one.
- Ongoing commitment to professional development.
- Strong passion for client welfare and improving mental health outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Comfortable with using computer technology.
- Efficiency, ethical practice, and effectiveness in work.
- Previous telehealth experience is helpful but is not necessary to apply.
