MJD Recruitment is currently working on a number of fantastic opportunities at a prestigious law firm supporting Partner and their teams.
The firm is looking for switched-on Legal Secretaries who have experience with billing, diary, and file management to assist with the day-to-day running of their practices. This role will require you to work full-time in the office for the duration of the assignments.
This role will give you the opportunity to work alongside some of Australia’s most reputable lawyers, with responsibilities including;
- Drafting, reviewing, and preparing correspondence & documentation
- Managing incoming correspondence and using initiative to provide a proactive and efficient approach to producing correspondence.
- File management
- Managing telephones, electronic diaries, and voicemail for team members
- Organising meetings and travel
- Manipulation of complex documents
- General accounts, reporting, and preparation of monthly billing
- Collating monthly bills and providing to clients
- Liaising with clients
- 1+ years’ experience in a law firm (Litigation/ Corporate experience is highly advantageous)
- Diary management experience
- Billing and file management experience is essential
- Experience in managing large caseloads
- Litigation experience is desirable but not necessary
- Available to work full-time, in office hours, Monday - Friday
