About the Role
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to fee earners in a family law practice;
- Assist with drafting legal documents such as pleadings, petitions, and settlement agreements;
- Organise and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are accurately labelled and filed appropriately;
- Coordinate client meetings and court appearances, manage calendars and schedule appointments; and
- Conduct legal research.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or paralegal in a family law practice;
- Strong knowledge of family law procedures and legal terminology;
- Proficiency in legal research tools and document management software;
- Excellent communication and organisational skills;
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently;
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks; and
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
