Pedare is a coeducational Anglican and Uniting Church school comprising of Junior (R-5), Middle (Years 6-9) and Senior (Years 10-12) based in Golden Grove. We are committed to developing young people to make a difference in our global community and passionate about providing our students with the best education and learning curriculum. Here at Pedare we have been operating since 1986 and we have over 1,100 students.
The Junior School is a place of warmth, focus, stimulation, and achievement with three main priorities: education, values, and safety. It is here the Pedare journey begins in a personal environment where great attention is given to each individual child by knowing and understanding their learning and interests. The Opportunity:
We are seeking expressions of interest for qualified Temporary Relief Teachers for 2024 across a range of year levels (R-5) to join our casual pool. Our Relief Teachers will cover short-term absence of teaching staff on a casual basis and will be required to pick up the set subject plan whilst delivering high quality teaching to students. As a successful applicant you will be able to hit the ground running, work as a team and have excellent verbal and written communication.

What we need:
- A current South Australian Working With Child Check (WWCC)
- Responding to Risk of Harm, Abuse and neglect (RRHAN) certificate
- Current Teacher Registration Certificate in South Australia
- First Aid and CPR Certificate (preferred)
- Academic Transcripts and Degrees, Diplomas, Certificates, Statements of Service
All certificates and qualification(s) must be provided to the College prior to commencement of employment; and the College requires the applicant to disclose any information relevant to their eligibility to engage in activities involving children and young people.
