Reception & Admin Support
Full Time 38 Hours / Week
Claremont Podiatry is an experienced podiatry clinic located in Claremont, Hobart. We offer a comprehensive range of private podiatry services offered by our experienced podiatry team. We are a progressive private clinic established for over 30 years with an excellent reputation for providing the highest standard of care for our community working with patients from all backgrounds that will best suit their needs.
An exciting opportunity has presented at Claremont Podiatry for 2024 on a full time basis. We are seeking a motivated, team-orientated, passionate team member to join our team to help deliver exceptional podiatry care to our community.
This clinic-based role means you’ll be working between front office reception, administration duties, practice management and Podiatry assisting.
Role
Reception
- Complete general reception duties including making and rescheduling appointments
- Accurate billing and processing of payments including entering appropriate service item codes
- Answering phone enquiries and completing appointment confirmations
- Maintain appropriate documenting and accurate record keeping in our practice management software
- Maintain general hygiene and cleanliness of the clinic areas
- Providing information on our products and services
Admin Support
- Prepare and maintain stock levels
- Processing of incoming remittances and invoices to maintain correct financials
- Completing end of day payment summaries and reconciling our PMS, EFTPOS accurately
- Completing general marketing duties including facebook posts, advertisements and our in-house newsletter.
- Completing ordering of clinic consumables and products.
- Assisting in patient contact via our recall system
Podiatry Assisting
- Prepare patients for examination and treatment
- Complete cleaning and sterilization procedures of our instruments
- Prepare and maintain stock levels within treatment rooms
- Assist in the treatment of shock wave therapy for chronic foot complaints, assisting in nail surgery preparation and processing/designing of 3D scans for orthotic manufacturing.
- Assist in our orthotics lab; managing materials and completing finishing of orthotic devices
- Assist our podiatrists in the ordering and fitting of orthopedic footwear for our clients
- Prepares treatment rooms with necessary instruments and consumables; prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatments.
Practice Management & PA Duties
- Assisting with the recruitment of podiatrists
- Developing our service, policies and procedures
- Assist the director managing the clinic from an administrative view point
- Scheduling meetings and organising of events
- Updating rostering of reception and podiatrists
Hours (some flexibility with schedule for the right candidate)
- Monday 12:00 – 6
- Tuesday 8:30 – 5:30
- Wednesday 8:30 – 5:30
- Thursday - 9 -5
- Friday – 8 – 4
