An exciting opportunity has opened at North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) for an experienced career orientated professional Tenant Manager – Facilities who is self-motivated, uses initiative and works efficiently to join our friendly and efficient Facilities Management Team.

This vacancy is for Permanent Full-Time appointment.

North Metropolitan Health Service covers almost 1000 square kilometres, with a population of almost 740,000, representing about 28 per cent of Western Australia’s total, and is projected to grow to more than 0.9 million by 2031. NMHS healthcare providers are fully accredited and offer a range of highly specialised, multidisciplinary, state-wide services from several hospital and outpatient / ambulatory care settings, as well as services specifically aimed at the north metropolitan catchment.

Your role as Tenant Manager – Facilities plays a key role in our organisation supporting the Area Manager Facilities Operations, your colleagues across all NMHS sites, and the wider community, with duties including but not limited to:

  • planning, developing and managing the activities of the North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) Tenants with respect to: minor works, repairs, maintenance, operations, contractors, consultants, recouping and associated tasks;
  • providing a strategic consultancy and service advice consistent with the NMHS Facilities Management (FM) short- and long-term objectives;
  • providing a central point of contact for all Tenant FM issues / activities within NMHS;
  • managing FM activities in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and / or Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) of all tenants.

The successful candidate is likely to have:

  • A friendly and professional attitude with a high level of Supervisory skill in a facilities management and tenant services related environments.
  • Confident in conversing with a wide range of stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Experience in providing support in a busy, variable environment.
  • Excellent ability to prioritise the workload, use effective time management and highly developed organisational skills.

Both options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
